To help get us off to a flying start, when we reach 125 donors this Giving Day, alumnus Stephen Dunham (Mathematics, Class of 1996) will give £1,250 to the Mentally Fit York fund.

If 250 donors give to any fund this Giving Day, a generous donor will give £6,250 to the York Sanctuary Fund.

If a member of every graduating class in York’s history makes a gift to Giving Day, a generous alumnus (Goodricke, 1989) will donate £15,000 to the York Sanctuary Fund.

If people from 15 different countries give to any cause this Giving Day, former Deputy Vice Chancellor, Jane Grenville will donate an additional £1,250 to Mentally Fit York.

The USA 15 Donor Challenge
To help get us off to a flying start, when we receive 15 donations to Giving Day from the USA, alumnus Alan Eynon (D.Phil Electronics, Class of 1997) will donate $2,500 to the University Opportunity Fund.

The USA 50 Donor Challenge
If we receive 50 donations to Giving Day from US based donors, the Board of the University of York in America will donate $11,750 split between our Giving Day funds.

If Giving Day receives 25 gifts from members of the first 10 graduating classes (1966-76), David and Viv Taylor-Gee (Class of 1968) will donate an additional £1,000 to York Sanctuary Fund.
