My time at York was amazing and I hope every student benefits as much as I did. Best wishes.

Every student should have the same opportunity to study at York that benefitted me, regardless of background. We were fortunate to have free tuition and maintenance grants, which is no longer the case. I don’t want the York experience now to be limited to the well off.

My mental health was at its lowest during my second year at university, and it badly affected my ability to study, attend lectures, and my grades. I'm in third year now, and slowly recovering, but I hope my donation can help those in a similar situation that I was in.
